Experimental Eco-Photography 3-Week Spring Course
Celebrate the coming of Spring when you join photographic artist Josie at her three-week experimental eco-photography course in March.
Based at Mount Pleasant Eco Park, you will be inspired by the venue’s hilltop location perched above the valley and ocean at Porthtowan on the north Cornwall coast.
Expand your photographic or arts practice, whether a beginner or experienced, come and try out the wonderful world of camera-less, nature-based image-making.
The course will cover projects such as:
Nature-inspired cyanotype techniques
Repurposing photo materials for lumen printing
Plant-based image-making
You will leave with a small portfolio of eco-consciously made photo-art that is unique to you, and hopefully a passion for eco-photo practices.
Josie founded Cornwall’s first environment-minded and socially engaged eco-darkroom in 2011 and has a wealth of knowledge to share.
3 x Wednesday evenings 6.30pm - 8pm.

£90 for 3 sessions
No experience necessary

Free parking is available on-site. Tea, coffee and water are available at the workshop. The studio space is accessible with an accessible toilet.
Workshop location: Unit 2, Mount Pleasant Ecological Park, Porthtowan, TR4 8HL.
Refunds: Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 10 days before the start date. After this, a 50% partial refund or credit can be made. No refunds are given for cancellations within 24 hours. If Josie has to cancel due to any other unforeseen circumstance, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
