Along with Josie’s skills as a photographic artist and educator, she is also an experienced communications and marketing professional and a qualified journalist. She has more than 15 years of experience working with local, regional, national and international press.

Josie offers:

  • Communications services for the art, environmental or business sectors, including writing press releases, pitching to media to secure coverage and media training.

  • Branding content - visual and written - to ensure your business, project or cause stands out from the crowd (for all the right reasons).

  • Social media content creation, delivery or support such as advising on channels to use and scheduling posts.

  • Smartphone photography training to create great content images and videos.

  • Editorial photography and video production.

Josie will listen to what you want and work with you to create human-interest articles and imagery that will be picked up by the media and secure engagement and responses to your calls to action.

She is happy to assist those who may not have big budgets to splash on expensive marketing assets, such as grassroots environmental or social justice campaign groups and emerging artists.

You may have read some of Josie’s work without knowing it - her journalism background ensures her articles are often picked up and run as is across print, web and magazine titles, while various TV and radio coverage has been secured by Josie.

Josie provides communications and social media support to CAMP, a membership CIC supporting artists across Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly and Devon.
